Hi! I'm Kendra and I founded You Conferences in 2018. It started as an intention after being inspired by other empowerment conferences that I attended across the country. It was clear that every woman needed the opportunity to set aside time to be inspired, to build their confidence while growing their networks, and to radically move the needle forward in their lives.
It felt like attending an event like this was out of the reach of too many people. By the time you take off work, arrange child care, and fly somewhere and then include transportation, hotel, and food it was just a lot. But the need was too big to ignore and the desire to find a way for an empowerment conference to exist locally was urgent.

I don't honestly remember all the details, but my friend Rina and I were having coffee, discussing the possibility, and somewhere between sips an event we would call "Authentically You" was born. I was terrified. Rina was on fire. It was her enthusiasm that would keep the momentum of You Conferences moving faster than my fear of the unknown.
It felt like Rina pushed me off that cliff from being stuck in an idea to free falling into action.
The first conference was a bit of a disaster. The event itself was great; it was the sideways snow coming down by the inch that made it a bit of a disaster. Thirty-five women showed up and by the end of the day it was clear that we landed on something amazing.

Past You Conferences
You Conferences have been in motion since 2018. Each event addresses mindset, growth, and ideas that support following through with ideas to get attendees to the next level in life or business. With the advent of breakout session selection, attendees have been able to create their own experience and choose sessions that fit their goals best. They choose workshops from experts in mindset, finances, social media, health and wellness, content creation, local influence and more. The speakers are selected from the local area and have achieved varying levels of success in their respective industries.

Gracefully You
Gracefully You was held on October 7-8 2020. The Covid-19 Pandemic made this our second virtual conference amid our community's healing from the Deracho storm just a couple of months before. Giving ourselves some grace on the back end of 2020 was given a whole new meaning, and our You Community showed up big! Our Keynote Speaker, Courtney Meisner, made a massive impact on our community and inspired us all with laughter and a lot of grace.

Abundantly You
Abundantly You was originally scheduled for March 2020, but the Covid-19 Pandemic had other plans... delaying the event to June 18th and forcing our first ever virtual event. During this time we were uniquely focused on abundance with over 200 people in attendance, country wide. Our first "Stories of You" speakers took the stage as well as our first Keynote Speaker. Awki Nji brought the house down with her perspective on Abundance and left every jaw on the ground.

Courageously You
On October 10, 2019 our conference went bold and guests were challenged to gather Courage in a variety of areas in business and life, from the courage to dominate goals to collaboration, dream chasing, telling their authentic story, overcoming, internal limitations and more! This event was power-packed and spawned the creation of our planning committee that we now call the You Crew.

Intentionally You
Not to be slowed down, Intentionally You made us out grow our original facility and attendees got intentional in their businesses and lives at this event. For the first time at the You Conferences, attendees could choose their own experience by selecting breakout sessions and customize the event to their goals.

Confidently You
October 4, 2018 brought our second event, Confidently You, where attendees learned to tap into their authentic vision and create momentum with action driven by confidence. We had our first panel of speakers at this event and learned the value of community.

Authentically You
The first You Conference was held on March 24, 2018 and much to our surprise came during a blizzard. Despite the hurdle of a literal foot of snow (coming down sideways, of course), the You Community was officially formed and many of the attendees later became a part of our planning committee.
